Contact Form Submission Guidelines
Because we have limited time and financial
resources, and the number of visitors to the Clueless Mailers site
has grown dramatically, we must ask that you
please keep your questions and comments ON-TOPIC; please limit your
submissions to questions or comments about the Clueless Mailers
site, its contents and its mission.
In particular, while we appreciate enthusiastic communication, this
contact form is not a general anti-spam discussion forum (there
are already plenty of those). So:
We do not accept nominations of
domains or companies for the blacklist; The CM site only
covers those that are spamming us (for the blacklist), or those
that are directly or indirectly connected to those spammers (for
the Spamdemic Map(TM), for the sake of clarity and preservation
of our sanity.
Please don't send us an essay on
how to stop spam; we've probably heard about the tactics
already, and there's nothing we can really do with your comments
anyway, except maybe to say, "Thanks for writing."
Similarly, please don't send us
glowing reviews of your favorite anti-spam software or administrative
blocking technique; we've probably heard about it already,
and there's nothing we can do with your information anyway.
Please do not send us general questions
about spam-fighting; we unfortunately do not have the
resources with which to provide basic help and Internet user support
services.
For the brain-dead among you: Commercial solicitations will be reported as spam. (Yes, believe it or not, more than one commercial solicitation has been received... one from a well-known generator of email spam.)
CluelessMailers.org is an ANTI-SPAM WEBSITE. We
did not spam you, and we can not remove you from any spammer's
mailing list.
Last
but not least, PLEASE SCAN THE FAQ the list of Frequently Asked Questions. Virtually all of the questions we get via this form are answered there.
Now... If you would like to contact
us concerning the Clueless Mailers site, its contents and its
mission, we encourage you to send us a note!
We're sometimes swamped with email, so a reply may be delayed,
if one is needed. If your message is off-topic,
there is a strong possibility that we will not respond.
Even if no reply is warranted, we do read
all of our mail! Thanks!
Bob
